Affordable luxury electric vehicle: Wuling Starlight EV features
Starting at just $13,800, the Starlight EV is one of the most accessible electric vehicles on the market. This compact sedan measures 4835 mm in length, 1860 mm in width, and 1515 mm in height. It boasts a modern and aerodynamic design, with a drag coefficient of 0.228Cd and is complemented by elegant 18-inch star-shaped wheels.
Inside, a spacious and expansive cockpit is immediately noticeable. The 410 Standard Edition features a 10.1-inch central control screen, while the 510 Advanced Edition boasts a massive 15.6-inch screen. The driver’s seat is adjustable in 6 directions, and both models come equipped with two front and two rear USB ports.
Technologically, the 510 Advanced Edition is equipped with Ling OS, offering features like GPS navigation, OTA (over-the-air) updates, and voice recognition control. Safety features include adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, collision avoidance alert, and lane departure warning.
The Starlight EV is not only affordable but also ambitious in terms of performance. The 410 Standard Edition offers a range of 410 km with a 41.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, while the 510 Advanced Edition reaches up to 510 km with a 54.5 kWh battery pack.
The batteries can charge from 30% to 80% in just 15-20 minutes thanks to the fast-charging feature. Additionally, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 7.3 seconds with a maximum speed of 160 km/h.
